Opportunity to Partner With Montgomery County to develop the
Jeremiah Park Zero Emissions Bus Depot
Project Overview
To support the goal of eliminating greenhouse gas emissions by 2035, Montgomery County, Maryland is seeking a development to design, build, finance, operate (energy infrastructure only), and maintain a Zero Emissions Bus Depot and related energy infrastructure at the County’s Jeremiah Park site.
The Site
The Property a 45-acre parcel currently utilized as an MCPS bus depot, supporting approximately 435 buses. The County is looking for creative solutions to maximize the available space and limit site use for the Zero Emissions Bus Depot to approximately 20 acres.
Status Updates
Montgomery County and JLL released the RFQ on Sept, 20, 2024.
The deadline for the submission of RFQ-related questions is October 4, 2024 October 18, 2024.
The deadline for the submission of Statements of Qualification (“SOQs”) is October 25, 2024 November 8, 2024. SOQ submissions must emailed to both of the contacts listed below.
On October 10, 2024 the RFQ was revised to include an updated timeline.
On October 10, 2024 the “Montgomery County RFQ Question Responses” was added to the addenda.
On October 24, 2024 the “Montgomery County RFQ Question Responses” were updated.
